Information we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, and any other details you choose to share, like a message, an event date, guest count, or a job application detail. We only collect this when you submit a form yourself.

Our Contact and Catering forms have an open message field. If you choose to mention a food allergy, dietary need, or other health-related detail there, see our Consumer Health Data Policy for how that specific information is handled.

How we use it

We use the information you send us to respond to your message, catering inquiry, or job application. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who receives it

When you submit a form, it goes through a form delivery service that passes your message to our inbox. We do not use a separate customer database or CRM to store form submissions today.

Text messages

If you check the text message box on one of our forms, you agree to receive texts from us about your inquiry. Message frequency varies based on your requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts from us, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase or of doing business with us. You can still submit the form and reach us by phone or email without checking that box.

Cookies and tracking tools

We use a small number of tools, all from Google, on this site:

• Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use this site, like which pages are viewed.
• Google Ads helps us measure and run our online advertising. If you arrive from one of our ads, this tool can replace the phone number shown on the page with a tracking number, so we can measure which ads lead to calls. That tracking number reaches our restaurant the same as our main number.
• Google reCAPTCHA runs a background check when you load a page and when you submit a form, to help stop spam. It looks at how the page is used, not the words you type.
• Google Maps shows a map on our Contact page. Loading that page sends a request to Google.

You can block most of these by adjusting your browser's cookie settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Your choices

• To see, correct, or delete the information you have sent us, email contact@whynotmyasian.com.
• To opt out of Google ad personalization, visit adssettings.google.com.
• To opt out of Google Analytics, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• To stop receiving texts from us, reply STOP to any text we send.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
